If you looked at the Chicago skyline two years ago you wouldn’t have seen what will be the third tallest tower in Chicago. Designed by renowned architect, Jeanne Gang, Vista will be an addition to Aqua which finished construction in 2009. Featuring a ‘wavy’ design, every floor is a slightly different size and vista has sought to mimic that theme. Even from afar you will notice that Vista Tower looks architecturally impossible. Featuring a wind tunnel to allow wind to pass through without affecting the stability of the structure, this tower is truly unique.
Amenities
Vista will feature an array of high end amenities which will make you feel as though you never have to leave your building again. A high end fitness center with views of Lake Michigan will take care of all of your work-out needs. After your workout, you can ‘swing’ on over to the golf simulator to hit a few balls at some of the world’s top courses. For business purposes the top-of-the-line business center will have everything you need and, once you have finished a hard day of work, you can head to the variety of kitchen options available. The pool, with amazing views, will be where you spend all of your weekends.
Views
Some of the views from Vista will be absolutely astonishing even from the lower floors. Featuring floor to ceiling windows on every unit, you are guaranteed to have great views no matter the unit you buy. The 360 degree penthouse units are where the views will truly wow you. Full views in every direction clearing every building in the way, Vista tower will make you feel like you are floating in the sky. The massive, nearly 6,000 square feet, units will have unobstructed views of the entire city.
Opinion
Vista is as high end as buildings get in Chicago. This tower features the highest grade finishes, unimaginable views and amenities to fix your every need. The prices in this building are understandably some of the highest in Chicago so be prepared before your visit. If you are interested in a showing at this amazing new high rise, reach out to me!
